Abstract In the present paper hybrid core–shell InP/ZnS quantum dots were prepared by one pot synthesis method which does not require additional component injections and complies more with cost requirements. The synthesized characterized X-ray diffraction optical spectroscopy methods. applicability of particles in inverted solar cells fabricated a step-by-step procedure combines thermal vacuum deposition spin-coating techniques was investigated. resulting efficiency cell is comparable to that quantum-dot sensitized TiO 2 based cells.
